Daily route planning from Bakeries to Stores. Each bakery submits Excel files in their own format. Managers were manually processing requests, building routes, and assigning driver rates. Time cost: over 2 hours per day. A previously purchased expensive routing software from a well-known brand did not work.
A software robot was developed that:
• processes emails from bakeries and downloads requests; • builds routes based on vehicle load capacity; • calculates driver payments and generates invoices for bakeries; • creates a summary report and files for subsequent upload to 1C.
