Automation of auction bidding for freight lots. Managers cannot track hundreds of lots and adjust bids in time (in the last minutes/seconds).
An IT system was developed and deployed based on RPA software robotics — the "Auction Robot" — for automated bid management:
• RPA software robots: parser robots, bidding robots; • Database; • BACK-END; • FRONT-END: web interface for managers to select lots and set bid ranges for robot play.
All lots from the portal are captured in the database. Managers select the lots they are interested in via the web interface and set minimum and maximum bids. The robots participate in auctions, automatically reducing the bid by one step — within the range set by the manager.
